Keep a journal. Write down the number of hours that you work each day. Use a spiral notebook and use one page for each week that you work. If you keep records of your work you will have evidence of the overtime worked, especially if your employer pays you straight time in cash for hours of overtime worked or doesn’t otherwise keep accurate records of your time at work.
