Heather L. Bannister (ct. 27217) has had over a decade of experience and has won multiple awards for her work. Ms. Bannister is admitted to the Connecticut Bar (2006) and to the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut (2007). She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s labor and employment law section.

 

She worked at Ryan & Ryan from 2003-2008. From 2008 to 2020 she worked for the Connecticut General Assembly.  While serving as a Senior Legislative Attorney, she drafted and edited legislation. She also counseled legislators on proposed legislation and procedural matters.  

 

As the Supervisor of Statute Revision, she supervised the work of 30 attorneys and support staff in publishing the Connecticut Public and Special Acts and the General Statutes. She also provided training to attorneys on legislative drafting and revision of the statutes.
